About your next Challenge as a Software Developer:
What will you do:
- Simulate the different hydraulic systems contained in a power plant.
- Participate in the design of the simulation; reproduce the functionalities of hydraulic systems (piping, valves, tanks, heat exchangers, turbines, pumps, HVAC, etc...) using graphical programming tools; participate in the validation and commissioning of the simulator.
- Depending on the program, there may be travel required abroad at the customer site.
Required Skills and Experiences:
- Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical or Chemical)
- Experience in process systems simulation
- Knowledge of the C (and/or C++) language is essential
- Knowledge of the following tools is an asset: MS-Access, SQL, MS-Excel, Visual Basic.
- Able to read and analyze P&ID and plant equipment’s design data
- Master thermodynamic, hydraulic, unit operations and heat transfer
- Can easily perform mass and heat balances
- Interest in the nuclear power plant industry
- Bilingual (English and French) (oral and written). The knowledge of the English language, other than the French language is necessary due to contractual requirements.

Eligibility Criteria (Mandatory):
- Must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program;
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada “Reliability” status and Level 2 (Secret) security clearance.
- Must be eligible to meet the requirements for U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
