Rate: £19 - £22 per hour
Working hours:  Full-time, up to 37,5 hours per week

The Pharmacy team at Pulse is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician to join our team on the beautiful Douglas. This temporary position offers a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, ensuring the highest standards of accuracy in medication dispensing.

Duties and Responsibilities:

You will perform final accuracy checks on dispensed medications. You will ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines. You will collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care. You will maintain accurate records and documentation.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Experience/Knowledge:
  • NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services or Qualified Pharmacy Technician with relevant certification.
  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) as a pharmacy technician.
  • Act trained.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ post-registration hospital pharmacy experience.
• Skills/Abilities:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Good organizational skills to manage workload and meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
