We are seeking a highly skilled Vascular Scientist to join our esteemed client in Isle of Man for a short-term locum position. This role involves performing specialist vascular assessments, including ultrasound imaging and blood flow analysis, to support accurate diagnosis and treatment of vascular conditions. The successful candidate will work closely with vascular surgeons, radiologists, and multidisciplinary teams, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to clinical guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

The role requires expertise in vascular ultrasound imaging, including duplex scanning of carotid arteries, peripheral arteries, and veins. The scientist will be responsible for interpreting vascular studies, assisting in diagnostic procedures, and providing specialist advice to clinicians. Additionally, maintaining accurate patient records, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and ensuring compliance with UKAS accreditation standards are essential aspects of the role.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree in Vascular Science or equivalent.
  • Extensive experience in vascular diagnostics and ultrasound imaging.
  • Strong communication and patient-handling skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
