We are seeking an experienced and driven Chief Radiographer to lead our well-established stand-alone imaging clinic in Glen Waverley, featuring on-site parking and a full-time on-site radiologist. This is an outstanding opportunity for a senior radiographer ready to step into a pivotal leadership role within a comprehensive, high-quality imaging environment.

About the Clinic

Our Glen Waverley clinic offers a full suite of modalities, including:

• MRI
• CT
• Ultrasound
• General X-ray & OPG
• Mammography

About the Role

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Chief Radiographer will provide both clinical and operational leadership, ensuring best-practice imaging services, strong team engagement, and smooth day-to-day operations. You will work closely with the on-site radiologist and senior leadership to maintain high standards across all modalities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and support the radiography and sonography team
• Ensure delivery of high-quality, patient-centred imaging services
• Maintain clinical governance, radiation safety, and accreditation standards
• Oversee rostering, workflow optimisation, and resource utilisation
• Support recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and professional development
• Build strong working relationships with radiologists, referrers, and operational stakeholders
• Drive continuous improvement and a positive workplace culture

About You

• AHPRA-registered Radiographer with substantial post-graduate experience
• Demonstrated leadership or senior radiographer experience
• Strong clinical capability across multiple modalities (MRI/CT experience highly regarded)
• Confident communicator with a collaborative leadership style
• Organised, proactive, and patient-focused
