About the Role
Lumus Imaging is seeking an experienced and motivated CT / MRI Radiographer to join our team on a full-time basis at Northern Beaches Hospital. This role offers the opportunity to work in a modern, hospital-based imaging environment with access to advanced technology and a strong multidisciplinary support network.
As a CT / MRI Radiographer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and exceptional clinical standards. You will work closely with Radiologists, nursing staff, and administrative teams to support efficient workflow within a busy hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities
Perform CT and MRI examinations in accordance with established protocols and best practice standards
Ensure patient safety, comfort, and care throughout all imaging procedures
Operate imaging equipment accurately and efficiently to produce high-quality diagnostic images
Administer IV contrast in line with scope of practice and clinical protocols
Maintain compliance with radiation safety, infection control, and accreditation standards
Accurately document examinations and patient information
Contribute positively to team culture and continuous improvement initiatives
About You
AHPRA registration as a Medical Radiation Practitioner
Demonstrated experience in CT, with MRI experience
Strong understanding of radiation safety and imaging protocols
Excellent communication and patient care skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment
