  • Lead, coach, and mentor a high-performing audit team, ensuring development, retention, and succession planning.

  • Drive business development initiatives, including networking, proposal writing, and presenting to prospective clients.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, risk management, and internal quality standards.

  • Represent Grant Thornton at industry events and with key stakeholders on the Isle of Man and across the network.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven leadership experience, including leading large audit teams and managing a client portfolio.

  • Deep technical expertise in IFRS, UK GAAP, and ISA.

  • Strong business development skills, with a track record of winning work and growing client relationships.

  • Commercial acumen and the ability to think strategically about the FS market.

  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to operate at Board level.

  • A collaborative, people-focused approach aligned with the Grant Thornton culture.
