About the Role

Our team in Orange are on the lookout for a Full Time Medical Receptionist to join them in welcoming and providing the best service and care to our patients in our state of the at imaging centre in Orange. The Lumus Imaging Orange clinic is an outpatient clinic with MRI, X Ray, Ultrasound, CT, mammography and Bone Density services offered to a wide range of patients.

This position is offered on a permanent, Full Time basis. Working hours will be in shifts Monday to Friday between 7am and 7pm with occasional Saturday work for those interested (penalty rates apply).

A background in medical administration is advantageous but not essential and applicants with a strong customer service or administration background in other fields are also encouraged to apply.

You will be responsible for all reception duties including:

• Customer service and care including greeting patients at the front desk, taking, and directing incoming telephone calls
• Make radiology exam bookings
• General Clerical Duties
• Patient record management with exceptional data entry skills
• Liaising with other receptionist, referring doctors and other medical professionals in a courteous manner
• Medicare, DVA, Health fund and work cover billing and banking
