About the role:

A fantastic opportunity exists for a warm, organised and patient-focused Medical Receptionist to become the welcoming face of our well-established Maroubra clinic.

Enjoy the stability of a permanent full-time Monday to Friday schedule (8:00am - 4:00pm or 9:00am - 5:00pm) while building connections with patients and becoming an integral part of a close-knit team that truly loves what they do.

In this role you will be keeping the day running smoothly, ensuring every patient feels seen and cared for from the moment they walk through the door. Day to day you will:

• Welcome and assist patients with warmth and professionalism
• Manage appointment bookings and coordinate busy schedules
• Handle phone enquiries and patient correspondence efficiently
• Process billing and payments accurately through Medicare, private insurance and DVA
• Maintain up-to-date patient records
• Collaborate closely with clinicians and the wider admin team

About You

You are someone who thrives in a people-facing role and takes pride in delivering a standout patient experience. You will bring:

• Proven customer service experience, ideally in a medical or healthcare setting
• Confidence with IT and booking systems
• Confident communication and a naturally warm interpersonal style
• Sharp organisational skills and a keen eye for detail
• Composure and adaptability when juggling competing priorities
• A positive, team-first attitude and professional presentation
