Sales Development Executive

Job Purpose

To work collaboratively with New Business Executives by generating and qualifying opportunities from a desk-based position, while independently identifying and engaging potential new partners. A hybrid of inside sales and business development, this role is critical for scaling outreach and accelerating growth.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Research, qualify, and proactively engage with new partners to assess and unlock revenue streams.
  • Proactively engage with existing partners to assess performance, identify growth levers, and drive alignment with plan.com.
  • Collaborate with New Business Executives by booking meetings, preparing materials, and managing follow-ups.
  • Manage a portfolio of target accounts and create outbound sales campaigns.
  • Work closely with marketing to act on campaign leads and nurture them into qualified opportunities.
  • Build and execute partner development plans for target accounts.
  • Maintain accurate and timely CRM records of outreach, opportunity status, and partner engagement.
  • Gather and document partner intelligence, feeding insights back into the business.

  • Identify blockers to business growth and propose solutions to resolve them.
  • Drive my.plan adoption and strengthen its market position.
  • Utilise data and insight to identify and drive growth opportunities.

  • Create a consistent flow of qualified new partner opportunities.
  • Unlock new partners and develop them into consistent, quality monthly trading accounts.
  • Identify underperforming partners and develop them into consistent, quality monthly trading accounts.
  • Accelerate time-to-meeting and time-to-opportunity for partner opportunities.
  • Increase conversion rates of cold accounts into trading partners.
  • Utilise data to drive growth opportunities, including webinars and one-to-one partner development meetings.
