At Lincoln Electric System, our Tool Room/Material Handlers play an important role in supporting the crews and operations that keep electricity flowing safely and reliably throughout the community. This hands-on position is responsible for receiving, organizing, maintaining, testing, and distributing tools, materials, and equipment used across utility operations. Team members assist with inventory management, equipment calibration, deliveries to job sites, preventative maintenance, and safe warehouse operations while working closely with internal customers and field crews. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND COMPETENCIES
Under general supervision, performs storeroom and toolroom functions, including the receipt, storage, issuance, maintenance, testing, and tracking of materials, tools, equipment, and specialized utility devices. This role supports electric utility operations by ensuring materials and tools are available, compliant, calibrated, and maintained to industry and company standards. Responsibilities include shipping and receiving, inventory control, preventive maintenance, calibration, testing, repair, documentation, customer support, and safe operation of equipment. Performs emergency and overtime work as required. Consistent and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
REQUIRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED required.
At least two years of experience in a storeroom, warehouse, toolroom, maintenance, or utility related environment preferred.
Experience working with inventory systems, work orders, or maintenance documentation preferred.
An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
