We have an opportunity for an experience Business Analyst to join our Change Division in our Isle of Man Office on a 12 month limited term basis.

Job Purpose 

This role is focused on supporting the delivery of Business-as-Usual (BAU) change initiatives across the bank, with a particular emphasis on fraud prevention, regulatory compliance, and operational enhancements. The role holder will play a key role in analysing and optimising business processes, documenting system and business requirements, and ensuring readiness for change across the organisation. Operating within a collaborative and fast-paced private banking environment, the Business Analyst will work closely with stakeholders across functions to drive continuous improvement and ensure successful delivery of BAU initiatives.


Responsibilities & Duties

Process Engineering

  • Analyse and improve existing BAU processes, particularly those related to fraud, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency

  • Design and document optimised workflows aligned with strategic and regulatory objectives

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to validate and refine process improvements

Requirements Gathering & Documentation

  • Elicit, analyse, and document business and system requirements for BAU change initiatives

  • Translate business needs into clear specifications for technical and delivery teams

  • Ensure all requirements meet relevant regulatory, legal, and business standards

Business Readiness

  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure readiness for BAU implementations

  • Facilitate training and transition activities to embed changes into business operations

  • Provide feedback to ensure solutions meet user and business expectations

Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication

  • Act as a liaison between business units, IT teams, and third-party vendors

  • Produce high-quality documentation including business requirements, use cases, and user stories

  • Lead workshops and meetings to drive alignment and decision-making

Skills and Experience

  • 3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, ideally within private banking or financial services

  • Strong understanding of process engineering and BAU change delivery

  • Proficient in requirements management tools and documentation techniques

  • Experience supporting business readiness and UAT activities

  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements in the financial sector

  • Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., BCS) - Desirable

  • Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies

  • Knowledge of private banking products and services - Desirable
