Job Purpose
The role holder will be responsible for leading the Static Data Servicing Team. Primary responsibilities involve the day-to-day management of client data within various systems, both internal and external. Particular emphasis is placed on high quality and proactive client service to both internal and external clients, while being focused on team, business, and personal objectives. The job holder will be a point of contact for designated individuals for any queries and training.

Responsibilities & Duties
- Oversee day-to-day management of Static Data Team members.
- Own multiple Static Data input processes to ensure client accounts function properly.
- Manage holiday schedules and staffing to ensure adequate cover.
- Plan and coordinate team training and development, maintaining accurate training records.
- Deliver excellent internal client service by ensuring all requests are handled efficiently, accurately, and professionally.
- Act as a “Data Steward”, ensuring the highest accuracy within the team.
- Maintain robust Management Information and Team performance metrics.
- Support Banking Operations data remediation objectives, pursue data excellence.
- Apply sound judgment to identify and escalate unusual or suspicious activity to senior management or MLRO.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to obtain accurate information and documentation for client instructions.
- Take ownership of issues and communicate effectively to expedite solutions.
- Make timely, effective decisions and escalate issues within agreed timescales.
- Drive personal development and support team growth in line with annual objectives.
- Monitor workloads and resources to maintain appropriate cover at all times.
- Identify efficiencies and continuously strive to improve turnaround times.
- Participate in Operations-specific projects and act as Business Acceptance Testing Agent.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all tasks within the business area.
- Review procedures to ensure compliance with business policies and regulatory requirements.
- Serve as the primary source of operational metrics and data insights, supporting decision-making for senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Design and maintain progressive, clean Management Information (MI) dashboards that provide actionable insights into operational performance, client servicing, and data quality.
- Lead initiatives to improve data governance and stewardship, embedding best practices for data accuracy and compliance across the business.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to define and deliver data-driven solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Drive data remediation projects to enhance data quality and reduce operational risk.
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for static data processes, providing guidance and training to internal teams on data standards and best practices.
- Continuously monitor and analyse data trends, anomalies, and performance metrics, proactively identifying opportunities for process improvement.
- Support strategic projects and system enhancements, acting as a Business Acceptance Testing Agent to validate data integrity and functionality.
- Champion automation and efficiency improvements through advanced Excel techniques, data modelling, and integration with BI tools.
- Maintain robust documentation and audit trails for all data-related processes, ensuring transparency and compliance.
- Represent the team in cross-departmental forums, positioning Static Data Servicing as a trusted partner for operational excellence and client impact.
Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role, with proven working knowledge of key responsibilities.
- Proven ability to maintain and validate static client data across multiple and external systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel experience:
- Complex Pivot Tables for dynamic reporting.
- Macros and VBA scripting for process automation.
- Data Models and Power Query for transforming and cleaning large datasets.
- Power Pivot for advanced analytics and relationships.
- Conditional Formatting, Index/Match, V/X LOOKUP, and Array Formulas for efficient data manipulation.
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to meet challenging deadlines and continuously improve turnaround times.
- MI Reporting: Experience in designing and delivering progressive, clean MI dashboard for operational and strategic decision making.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills to interpret complex datasets and drive process improvements.
- Skilled in root cause analysis, variance analysis, and performance metrics tracking.
- Familiar with statistical techniques to support data driven decisions.
- Experience in data cleansing, deduplication, and remediation projects to ensure integrity and compliance.
- Exposure to SQL for querying and validating data (Desirable)
- Familiarity with Power BI or similar BI tools for visualization and reporting (Desirable).
- Experience with M365 Applications.
- Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional client service, ensuring all requests are handled efficiently, accurately, and professionally to enhance client experience.
