As a Core Banking Product Analyst within the Product Office of a of a digital bank, the primary responsibility is to assist with safeguarding and enhancing the ecosystem's well-being while specialising in delivering key features. The role requires a deep understanding of digital banking systems and an ability to proactively address challenges to maintain the health of the ecosystem.

What you’ll do:

  • Ensure the continuous health and optimal functioning of the digital banking ecosystem by monitoring, analysing, and addressing potential issues. Implement preventive measures to enhance the ecosystem's stability and security.
  • Take a forward role in roadmap planning and assist with the delivery of pivotal features into the digital banking ecosystem. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective digital solutions and complete necessary testing prior to delivery. Support with the creation of business materials and coordination activities to ensure successful product delivery. Maintain a focus on innovation and efficiency.
  • Manage relationships with third-party vendors, ensuring seamless integration of their technologies into the digital ecosystem. Evaluate and select strategic partners to enhance the bank's digital capabilities.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices. Provide technical curiosity to the business fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • A solid background in digital technologies, including but not limited to software development, cloud computing, API integrations, and cybersecurity. Proficient in programming languages relevant to the digital banking landscape.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills to address complex issues within the digital ecosystem. Ability to analyse data, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions to ensure the continuous health of the system.
  • A forward-thinking approach with a focus on innovation and the ability to bring creative solutions to the table. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to drive digital advancements in the banking sector.
  • Proven experience in managing and delivering projects on time and within budget. Strong organizational skills to coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring the successful implementation of key features into the digital ecosystem.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Facilitate collaboration between teams and articulate the value of digital solutions to the broader organisation. 
  • Expertise in managing relationships with third-party vendors. Ability to evaluate and select strategic partners, negotiate contracts, and ensure the seamless integration of external technologies into the digital banking ecosystem.
  • Strong leadership skills to guide and mentor junior team members. Foster a collaborative and innovative work culture while providing technical guidance and support.
  • Given the dynamic nature of the digital banking landscape, the ability to adapt to changing technologies, industry regulations, and business requirements is crucial.
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to align technical initiatives with the overall business strategy of the digital bank. Contribute to the development of a roadmap for digital innovation.
  • Proactively identify potential issues and risks within the digital ecosystem, implementing preventive measures to ensure system stability and security.
