We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Project Manager to join our team on the Isle of Man on a 12 month limited term basis.

Job Purpose 

Project Manager to lead and coordinate a broad portfolio of Business-as-Usual (BAU) projects across the bank. This role is central to ensuring the successful delivery of ongoing initiatives, including regulatory compliance, fraud prevention, operational improvements, and strategic change. The Project Manager will oversee both the implementation of new initiatives and the continuous management of BAU activities, ensuring alignment with business priorities and regulatory obligations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of BAU projects, including regulatory, fraud, and operational initiatives across the business
  • Manage the implementation of new business initiatives, ensuring smooth integration into existing processes
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, with a focus on meeting regulatory and operational milestones
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure project alignment with strategic and compliance objectives
  • Monitor project progress, proactively resolving issues and escalating risks as needed
  • Ensure all project documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with internal and external standards
  • Facilitate the capture and translation of business requirements into actionable project deliverables
  • Conduct process reviews to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements that support BAU delivery
  • Support data analysis and reporting to track project performance and ensure delivery against key milestones

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Finance, or a related field – Desirable
  • Proven experience managing BAU and regulatory projects within a highly regulated environment such as banking, financial services, or insurance.
  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience – Desirable.
  • Recognised project management certifications (e.g. PMP, Prince2, Agile)
  • Strong proficiency in project management tools (e.g. MS Project, Jira)
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results in a dynamic environment
