An exciting opportunity has arisen in Lumus Imaging in our Toowoomba Diagnostic Imaging clinic for a Full Time (or 4 days Part TIme) Radiographer in Charge.

This role is for an experienced Radiographer looking for their next career move. The successful candidate will ideally have experience across CT, X-ray, Dental and Bone Density modalities and be experienced in mentoring/managing.

In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operational services at the site, ensuring the delivery of a high-quality and efficient imaging service for both our patients and referrers. Additionally, you will provide leadership and guidance to the staff (team of 7)under your supervision.

It is expected that a Radiographer In Charge at this level will continue in their technical role in conjunction withtheir administrative role, so requires a thorough understanding of all modalities within the site.

Our Toowoomba Diagnostic Imaging clinic hours are Mon - Fri 8:30am - 5pm, no weekend or on call work.

We use the following machines at our clinic: CT GE Ascend Revolution, XRay Shimadzu, Bone Density Hologic. 

We will also onbaording an MRI machine to our clinic in 2025!

Your duties will include:

• Company KPIs specific to the role and for contributing to the site / regional KPIs through effective management of expenditure and resources (including staff).
• The operational efficiency of the site (clerical, technical and radiologist) and acting on directives from a State/National level.
• This role involves administration and clerical management (including IT).
• This role is responsible for people management at their sites.
• Escalating staffing requirements with the relevant supporting information to the Operations Manager
• Recruiting and selecting staff in accordance with the relevant company procedures
• Identifying, arranging, or conducting training requirements for the site and individuals
• Monitoring and managing staff performance on a formal and informal basis (including probation and performance reviews)
• Monitoring individual employees in relation to their classification, remuneration, skill level and professional development and advising the Operations Manager of any relevant recommendations.

Requirements:

• Senior CT/ General Radiographer or Imaging Manager with a minimum of five years of post-qualification experience
• Demonstrated proficiency in problem-solving and organizational multitasking abilities.
• Previous management experience is advantageous.
• QLD Radiation License and AHPRA
