Role Overview
We are looking for a high-performing Digital Marketing Manager to take the lead on our growth and acquisition strategy. This is a foundational role to work with the marketing agency, ideal for a senior specialist or manager who is ready to own a marketing vertical and scale it.
In this position, you will be given the autonomy to define our digital presence, optimise our performance frameworks, and establish the processes that will facilitate our future expansion. You will be a hands-on strategist who thrives on managing the entire marketing lifecycle, from initial creative concepts to technical execution and ROI analysis.
Key Responsibilities
● Your remit spans the full player lifecycle, from keeping players engaged to making sure our highest-value players feel genuinely valued.
Gamification Retention & Strategy
● Own the Gamification & Retention strategy, bringing a consumer-brand mindset to campaigns, rewards and lifecycle communications
● Design and execute gamification mechanics that feel exciting and earned, not just another loyalty points system, using community engagement
● Identify and act on commercial opportunities within the player base, balancing short-term revenue with long-term player value
● Use content-led moments and activations to support lifecycle campaigns, ensuring players feel connected to the brand at every stage of their journey, whilst feeding the strongest content into awareness and acquisition channels to drive new player growth
● Use data to identify trends in player behaviour, spot churn risks early and find new opportunities for gamification features.
● Track the end-to-end performance of brand activation campaigns, connecting on-platform engagement back to measurable retention and gamifications outcomes to understand what is genuinely moving revenue
● Continuously iterate on campaign strategy using performance data, building a feedback loop between brand activity, player behaviour and revenue impact that sharpens every activation over time
Experience & Requirements
● You have 3–5+ years in a retention team which supports gamification features but you work beyond your scope of work due to a genuine interest and curiosity for how the best consumer brands build lasting relationships with their audiences
● You understand how to build emotional connection at scale using content, creator relationships and rewards campaigns as tools for retention and gamification, not just awareness
● You are a creative thinker with a commercial edge, capable of generating bold, original ideas and equally capable of building the business case and execution plan behind them
● You understand how brand activation campaigns work across the full funnel, from community engagement and content-led moments through to measurable impact on player retention and lifetime value
● You are entrepreneurial by nature, comfortable operating with autonomy and energised by the opportunity to build something from the ground up rather than inherit a playbook
● You are as comfortable analysing data and campaign performance as you are in a creative brainstorm.
