We are looking for a highly motivated and ambitious individual to join our expanding Financial Services (FS) Audit team as a Senior Associate. This is a client-facing role offering strong career development opportunities, ideal for someone who thrives in a team environment and enjoys working on diverse FS audit engagements.
Our Financial Services audit portfolio includes a broad range of clients, including regulated entities, funds, SPVs, and other investment structures across multiple domiciles, regulatory frameworks, accounting standards (UK GAAP and IFRS), and strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Lead audit assignments for a range of Financial Services clients
Prepare accounts and financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP / IFRS
Design and implement efficient and effective audit plans
Ensure audit engagements are delivered to the highest standards within budget and timeframe
Act as a technical resource for FS accounting and regulatory issues, including delivering training and contributing to technical insights
Manage and mentor junior team members, supporting their development and performance
Contribute to building and maintaining strong client relationships
Liaise with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure a smooth audit process
Support the development of the FS audit practice and contribute to business development as needed
Skills and Attributes
ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS
Solid experience leading audit engagements, preferably within Financial Services
Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
A proactive, ambitious mindset with a commitment to high-quality work and continuous improvement
